call for scores

New music ensemble loadbang is proud to announce their second annual call for scores! Starting now, loadbang will be accepting submissions, which must consist of a CV and any recent (written 2009 or later) work of chamber music, with or without voice (2-7 players). It is recommended that the submitted work feature bass clarinet, trombone, trumpet, and/or male voice. Inclusion of a recording or electronic realization of the score is strongly encouraged.

Eligible composers include any citizen or current resident of the United States.

The receipt deadline for this submission is February 1st 2012. The winning composer will receive a prize of $433, and write a new piece to be performed by loadbang in Spring 2013.
